My most memorable cycling experience was ... winning my first national title. I was racing D1 mtb cross country nationals in Angle Fire, NM. The summer before I had stopped riding seriously and was away from the sport. In late summer early fall I got back on the bike with my friends and was working hard but just having fun again. I never expected to win that day, it was a big win and was made even better because I was surrounded by my friends and teammates.
I got into cycling because ... I’m crazy?! Just kidding! My dad taught me to ride mountain bikes and then my local bike shop taught me to race road bikes. It was fun and I liked competition so I just kept going from there.
I’m excited to race with Garneau - Easton p/b TLC because ... They seem like a rad group of people! Garneau Easton not only has great people organizing it but they equally have an amazing group of sponsors, its a top notch combination! I cant wait for the season to get underway.
If I’m not riding, I’m .... mowing the lawn, reading about training/health/wellness, helping athletes with training ideas, looking at adopting dogs via the internet.
