Pre-race ritual/Superstition: I'm not the superstitious type, but I do try to keep the same routine every race day. Pre-ride 3 or 4 laps in the morning, eat a big meal 3 hrs before the start, pin up numbers after eating, warm up on rollers 50 mins before start, and then roll to the line.

Race Day Breakfast: Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Pancakes. I'm not usually gluten free but these are delicious and sit well in my stomach.

Favourite Course: Silver Goose was my favorite of the 2017/2018 season. The 2018 Pan-American Championships will be there this year and I'm already looking forward it.

My most memorable cycling experience was ...  Finishing 4th at the US Elite Nationals in Hartford, CT. The combination of an already challenging course with extremely gnarly weather conditions made for an unforgettable day. Going into the race knew I was capable of a top 5 and although most people didn't have me penciled in as a top contender, I put a lot of pressure on myself to finish up there. Being able to execute and achieve the result I was shooting for was very rewarding.

I got into cycling because ...  of the freedom it granted. After I got my first mountain bike in 6th grade I spent every afternoon after school in the woods with my friends building and riding mountain bike trails with my friends. Not much has changed since then.

I’m excited to race with Garneau - Easton p/b TLC because ... I'm confident we have a team that can be a major threat at the biggest North American races. Having Michael Van Den Ham as a teammate means we will be able to employ team tactics at the front of the race and hopefully come away with some big results.

If I’m not riding, I’m .... hiking, skiing or thinking about when I'm going riding next.
