I got into cycling because ... I was a long distance runner in high school and University and I couldn't make it through 3 - 4 months without getting injured. I spent a lot of time rehabbing on stationary bikes and then progressed to triathlons. I started noticing that my bike splits were faster than everyone's and I decided to just give bike racing a shot first with road racing. Cyclocross became my speciality as soon as I tried it as I loved the fact that it was cycling and a bit of running mixed in too.
I’m excited to race with Garneau - Easton p/b TLC because ... the team is exactly what we need to keep the sport growing in North America and I am happy to be a part of it. This will be my third season with the team and I hope to give the development riders support and guidance to help them keep improving in the sport.
If I’m not riding, I’m .... usually relaxing with my husband and cat watching either some Big Bang Theory or any new and interesting series on Crave TV.
