A few weeks ago we announced that Garneau - Easton Cycling will be merging with Renewed CX to expand for the 2017/18 season. On top of expanding our operations to to include track-side support and an expanded professional roster, the team is very excited to announced that it will also be supporting a development team. The development program aims to help young or newer riders take the next step towards achieving their goals in cyclocross.

Michael van den Ham explains, “It can be incredibly difficult to make the jump from being a successful local athlete to being successful on the national or even international level. Between travelling to races, coordinating equipment, finding housing, transportation, and mechanics it’s almost impossible for a young athlete to manage everything on their on. Our program helps takes care of all that logistical stress so our development athletes can focus on their racing.”

Team manager, Dylan Postier, adds, “we want to play a role in the development and success of up and coming riders. It is our goal and plan to give these riders a pipeline to the top of the sport.”

We will be announcing both our professional and development roster soon and will be announcing many more details on our new organization in the coming months.
